been watchin movies these days, either from dvds/ theatres/ streamings....
watched '12lotus' and '$$notenough' wif my mum n bro some 3 weeks back...
i cried watching '12lotus'. i cant stand bad guys cheating on gd girls. i feel for dutiful daughters with gambler dads.
my mum teared during '$$notenough', cos its about old folks with exorbitant medical bills. friction betw brothers etc.
both stories are about the love for $$$. yes, its a pragmatic world out there. :(
of all the movies i watched, found 'love in times of cholera' and 'pathology' quite dumb.
the book for 'love in times of cholera' is so much better. the movie has so(too) many love(sex) scenes. i do know each person hav this 'one-true-love', but i do not need a 2 hr movie to tell me that some men can xxx around at any convenient place possible without lovin. sigh...
'pathology' was jus drugs, gore and cutting/slashin/ burning of dead human bodies. what kinda weird fetish or fantasy has it satisified? the doctors are jus stressed up, exhibitin eir gruesome violent streak. twisted.
and one of my all-time favs : Love Actually.
i am still not sick of it after watching it over :)
