day 1 - 11th dec

arrived at ho chi minh city airport
checked into omni saigon hotel
booked day trips to cu chi tunnel and mekong delta river at sinh cafe
dinner at pho2000
ben trahn night market - shopped!! bought an ao-dai (traditional vietnam costume!)
bought 'snow white' helium balloon.. super AA(attention seekin)
chilled out at sheraton hotel
pedicure for joey n james!
knocked out for the night...

day 2 - 12th dec

hotel breakfast
cuchi tunnel day trip - i'm impressed with the architecture of the tunnels, bombs and traps

delicious pho, chicken with lemongrass, saigon beer for lunch
dropped by cao dai temple - a very interesting religion that attempted to combine buddhism, christianity and taoism
visit to handicrafts factory - beautiful pieces of art, made with egg shells
tried lotteria's fried chicken (an alternate fastfood chain similar to KFC)
ate at executive lounge - love their pomelo!
dinner at japanese restuarant (sashimi, hot/cold sake, tempura, hotpot, plum wine, green tea ice cream)
photo takin @ town area - excellent xmas decor, exceeding singapore's standards!
went to acoustic - nice live band performance with a cute drummer! - i had a magarita
visited saigosaigon - salsa pub, with too mature a crowd for us.
proceed to top23 - hip club! met handsome sweden 'whiz-kid' guitarist (alex)
hit the sack for the night

day 3 - 13th dec
breakfast in hotel
proceed to sinh cafe for mekong delta trip - super duper long ride, 3draggyhours
sleep-eat-sleep our way to mekong delta
experience life of ppl living along the delta
tried their local snacks - pop-rice, rice paper with bananas, coconut milk candies!
lunch - grilled pork with rice, soup and fruits!
cultural performances - they played traditional musical instruments with vocals. sweet!!
way back to town - another 3 hours :)
checked out of omni saigon, checked into spring hotel
dinner at bun - yummy noodles, spring rolls, vietnamese coffee, escargots! tom yum soup...
visited apocalypse - normal club, i prefer club top23 though!
hopped to Qbar - chic n cool pub
slept late!

day 4 - 14th dec

breakfast at hotel - hot pho! (yumz) pomelo and iced coffee
round #2 - lotteria shrimp burger, KFC (grilled chicken n potato soup were yummy)!
strolled around diamond shoppin centre - departmental shoppin centre equivalent of ours...
visited notre dame cathedral n general post office
had drinks at allez boo - i drank tea!
checked out of spring hotel
home sweet home!

hmm, noticed i ate pho (quay diao with beef) EVERYDAY?
haha. yes, it was my 4-days-long obsession.
we also drank some alcohol EVERDAY...
not excessively though, but jus to taste. cause its real cheap! 5-8sgd only!
we could have visited more places if we had the time, 3 days was kinda short! there are a lot more places i wish i hav visited.
